If I had a dollar for every compliment I’ve received about my slide designs over the years, then I’d be a very rich man by now. But sometimes when I receive the compliment I feel like I’m taking credit for other people’s artistry.
I am always incorporating professional stock imagery into my slides, and that’s why they consistently look so professional. The question then, is can a novice designer create what appears to be a professionally designed slide? I believe that the answer is an overwhelming, yes. When you construct a slide using imagery, there are usually only three thngs you need to concern yourself with: the image, the text and the objects.
